Hello!
You can put your resources into the AndroidResources directory in the project as files, they will be used in the built product.
Same as icons in samples.

Hello, thank you for your answer. It works for me really well.
Was "apkFiles" intended to do this or I missed something and it never worked the way I tried to use it?

We changed build system half a year ago to support x64. It was a complete
rewrite, so some features may have been lost. It seem appropriate to make
build fail if this field set to let user know that this property is not
supported anymore and easy workaround exists.
