Robby,

Wow, you have put a lot of effort into this. Thank you very much. I think your
custom
colors feature is a great idea. I'm all for including this in a future release.
And
since you already coded the bulk of it, would you like to finish it? I can give
you
member access to the project here on Google Code and you can just push your
changes
to the repo. What do you say?

Oh, and if you shoot those countryside pictures, I am really jealous. ;)

Cheers,
Ozgur

Hi Ozgur,
I think you guys gave in eastern Turkey excellent mountains as well.

Anyway, no need for me to get member access rights, I even prefer if you could
make a
final quality check. I hope that I got everything right.

Enclosed the complete source code, based on the latest (2010-03-05) source. The
changes I made to the ImageListView and ImageListViewRenderer are commented in
the
header.

The enclosed pictures demonstrate the color palette in
ImageListViewColor.Noir() and
back to ImageListViewColor.Default(). We can argue about the color settings in
Noir(). I tried to match those of the ImageListViewRenderers.Noir().

BTW - the last tweak I am trying to do is to introduce an optional checkbox for
the
thumbnails. Nothing freaks me more out then having made a couple of image
selections
and due to a stupid mouse click the selections disappears. A checkbox should
that
sort out.

Robby

Hi Robby,

I've created a new branch for your changes. I am planning to release the next
version
as 6.0 when we are done. The new branch:
http://code.google.com/p/imagelistview/source/browse/#svn/v6.0

I made a few additions to your initial commit. I've added border colors for
unfocused, selected and hovered states, I've also added a new property for the
label
texts in pane view. Diff here:
http://code.google.com/p/imagelistview/source/diff?
spec=svn239&r=239&format=side&path=/v6.0/ImageListViewColor.cs&old_path=/v6.0/Im
ageLi
stViewColor.cs&old=238

You are now a project member. I am not asking you to commit yourself to this
project
or anything. It just makes it much easier to track changes to the source code
when
you push your changes via SVN. (ie, the commit history and diffs, like the one
above)

The 6.0 branch will be used to incorporate your additions to the control. So
feel
free to ravage it to your heart's content ;)

Please let me know if you are unhappy with this arrangement, I'll promptly
remove
your account. If you would like to discuss this further, feel free to email me,
send
carrier pigeons, messages in bottles, or whatever communication method you
prefer. :)

Thanks a lot for your hard work.

Cheers,
Ozgur
