Actually for the webcredentials and applinks, it is better to put it in developer mode, which looks like this: webcredentials:pro-5513881030479038896.frontendapi.corbado.io?mode=developer. For this, the user also needs to activate Applinks from the phone settings -> Settings/Developer/Allow Applinks. When the ?mode=developer is not set, it may take up to 24 hours for the iPhone to be able to detect the /.well-know/apple-app-site-association file, which may be confusing sometimes, as the above error still persists in that case. In the developer mode it works instantly.

Got this error, when I forgot to add Bundle Identifier to Credentials. We can put this too in the Read.me file later

This problem got solved by updating the frontendapi endpoint from ProjectID.auth.corbado.com to ProjectID.frontendapi.corbado.io. Also updating the origin for iOS was needed, as in the issue #8
