Max queue size should be configurable about faktory HOT 7 CLOSED

Good idea, I like the idea of using Viper to give us config flexibility for a lot of the options that will be added over the next few months.

Yep, makes sense. There's no place today to configure elements within Faktory; right now I'm thinking of supporting /etc/faktory/config.yml which would have elements like:

queues:
  default:
    backpressure: 123456

viper is a pretty good library from steve fancia which parses config files (yml, toml) and also overrrides the values with environment values if specified. Very easy to setup and use.

Any update on this? The fixed queue size limit is currently the only thing stopping me from replacing a RabbitMQ mess with Faktory.

@apa512 I see this as last resort backpressure. Right now I have no plans to implement a configuration knob for it.

Backpressure has been bumped another order of magnitude from 1m to 10m. That's per-queue so you can have 10 queues with 10m jobs each, for instance.
