I just found this project and this was also my first thought. I have only 3 services that I want this to apply to. All the others should be updated with more care. Maybe a whitelist and blacklist environment variable would work?
May as well throw in an environment variable to customise the time between checks too?

Maybe make the example show blacklisting more than one service, because it's not obvious the format it should take?
