I tried that and I'm getting this error - using option 1 = rebuild containerd:

Error relocating /usr/local/bin/containerd: __fprintf_chk: symbol not found

By the way, this is DinD rootless and not directly on the host system, so I made the changes /home/rootless = $HOME in your response. Version of DinD rootless:

Ah. Thanks. Yes, this is what I've been trying so far, but there is major problem with this route - containers/fuse-overlayfs#321. Was wondering if there was some other way (rootless deployment) to have a fast fuse-overlayfs implementation.
