RSolr::Error::Http - 404 Not Found on CircleCI about sunspot_test HOT 4 CLOSED

Then I read an answer on stackoverflow. The answer tells that it is the problem of permission (root).

I had the same problem and I just resolved it after a lot of digging. The sunspot.yml file that CircleCi generates is not correct. You will have to send them a message and tell them not to override your configuration. The have a flag that they can set on the backend.

Yes, @aponcz was correct. CircleCi generates another sunspot.yml file. I was able to resolve this issue by adding the following to the circleci.yml file:

database:
override:
- RAILS_ENV=test bundle exec rake db:create
- RAILS_ENV=test bundle exec rake db:migrate
# you'd move your sunspot start command here
- RAILS_ENV=test bundle exec rake sunspot:solr:start
- RAILS_ENV=test bundle exec rake db:seed

remove all other redundant lines involving solr.

All tests passed on my end.
