Could you post the output of the fsinfo and attr_runs Windows commands of ntfs-shell? (run in the root directory of your partition)

Thank you for the screenshots! The second one explains it: The IndexRoot attribute is part of an AttributeList and stored in a different FILE record. I considered that case for many attribute types, but I must have missed it for the IndexRoot.
Unfortunately, NtfsIndexRoot currently borrows from the FILE record, which does not work in this case. I have to see what trade-off to make here to fix that. At least the problem is well understood now :)
