Don't work Transfer the ownership about group_tools HOT 6 CLOSED

Group owner transfer always worked, but maybe this is related to one of the newest versions of Elgg where owner transfer is also part of the core groups plugin. I need more information to research this issue.

Nothing special, w/o tweaks...

Elgg 1.8.13
Correctly installed/activated Groups and Group Tools
Deactivated all third-party plugins.

Settings in Group Tools:
Allow group owner transfer - Group owners and site admins

Steps to recreate:
User A is an owner Group
User B is a member Group
User A goes to Edit group -> Other options and choose:
---Transfer group ownership to: User B
------'Transfer' button submit
Gets an 'Error message' : "An unknown error occured while saving the group, please try again"

The core transfer option is works very well after deactivated Group Tools

Probably related to a conflict in 1.8.13. We have plans to update group_tools this week, so we will look into this issue soon.

with the current github version of group_tools and elgg 1.8.14 we have no issues regarding group ownership transfers. If you still have the issues after the update, please let us know.
