You can currently close issues in the application by going into the issue and clicking the "edit" (pencil and pad icon) button at the top right of the screen. By simply flipping the switch where it says "Open" you can close the issue. Simply hit the save button at the top right and the issue will now be closed.

Can you please change the way this is handled it seems a little awkward like I should be able to just tap a close or open button green and red

Yea, I can definitely revisit this and make it more fluid.

With the latest beta build (2.3.0.2) you can now close an issue by clicking the icon in the top right and choosing "close" from the dropdown menu. Does that work a little better? I know theres probably a better way, but I think its a little faster than before. We can also pursue a better way to close issues in IssueHub. In addition, you can now see the activity, as mentioned by your last comment.

Ok I do have other ideas, like having the bottons at the button and when you press close rectangle It prompts an alert saying are you sure? Then once it is closed the button if a single button centred at the bottom changes from bright green with the words open in the centre and fades to bright red and the white text in centre says closed(also the circuit breaker sound effect triggers after you confirm that you want to close or open via the alert box.

This can also be done with a open rectangle on the left side at bottom and a close button at bottom right and you can press either one and it either turns bright or light red when activated or not etc.

Here is is my friend both of the designs for the current style of codehub:

Issue Open/Closed Single Button Style:

issue open single
issue closed single

Issue Open/Closed Dual Button Style:

open dual example
closed dual example

Closing as the current "Close" functionality is sufficient. The problem with the above approach is that a large number of comments pushes the open and close buttons far down the view. The button in the top right drop down is quicker to reach rather than scrolling down.
