Windows & macOS versions not working? about relight HOT 5 CLOSED

Just updated the linux and macos release with tar.gz archives, which store unix permissions unlike zip!

thanks for the feedback!

I just released a new version, where hopefully some of these problems are solved, and win the Wiki section you can find some installation instructions (and hopefully soon some documentation on how to use the software.

In particular for Mac it is usually a permission problem (a link in the Wiki should help), while for Windows you have already the Visual Studio Redistributable installed, the relight.exe should run, in case could you report the error?

Fixing the 1.1.0 mac release permission problem :

• Extract zip
• Move "relight.app" to Application folder
• Right click on relight.app ➡️ Show package content (🇫🇷 : Afficher les contenus du paquet)
• Navigate to Content
• Right click on "Macos" folder ➡️ New terminal at folder (🇫🇷 : Nouveau terminal au dossier)
• Enter : chmod +x relight
• Open MacOS folder, open "relight". It will say that it's not from a certified developper
• Open System Preferences panel ➡️ Security ➡️ Open anyway in "General" tab.
• Close everything, you should be able now to open relight.app directly from the Application folder.

I guess that if you fix this permission problem in macOS then this issue can be closed. :)
