Hi @andrew-edgar, thanks for the report! I believe (talking to you offline) that this is not a showstopper for you since we have other ways of achieving the same thing. Given this is the case I'd be hesitant to continue to support what was very much an "accidental feature". I'm going to close this (but I'm glad it's here so future folks who hit this can see the context), and please let me know if this is in fact blocking you so we can see if there's some other way to support the use case
