Hey @gkspranger / @jak74 thanks for bringing this to our attention, I am just going to have a look and will get back to you once the cause has been found. Thanks again!

Hi again @gkspranger / @jak74 , I have updated the released 1.9.4 binaries to include the fix. Please let us know if you have any further issues. I will close this at EOD if we have not heard back. I have manually verified that the published releases now correctly reflect the 1.9.4 version number when running bbr version

@neil-hickey thanks for the version bump. bbr executes correctly, and Concourse is happy. All is well in the world again. I agree that it would be nice to be able to invalidate a resource in cache on Concourse, but it appears that the request has been raised more than once and eventually nothing comes of it.

We have created an issue in Pivotal Tracker to manage this. Unfortunately, the Pivotal Tracker project is private so you may be unable to view the contents of the story.

The labels on this github issue will be updated when the story is started.

@neil-hickey - the updated version works as expected. However, is there any chance that the version number can get bumped? Keeping the same version number causes issues with resource caching in Concourse, and I believe the only way to resolve would be to recreate numerous workers across multiple Concourse installations.

Hey @jak74 , gotcha. Another person has also pointed this out. I think ideally concourse would provide a way to not used a cached version, but given that this is an issue for multiple people it makes sense to publish a new 1.9.5. We will create a story for publishing a new release.

Hi @jak74 we have gone ahead and published a new version which should contains the fix. Please let us know if that works / there are any further issues.
