I built the binary for this install on my Gentoo linux system. A co-worker build another binary using a new Ubuntu container... and that new binary is working normally (for getting and adding alerts and silences).
I'm not sure why the binary I made would be failing to add silences like this? My guess would be some missing dependency in some package in my gopath? But not sure exactly.. It's working with the new binary, so I guess I will close out this issue now...
