npm about calipso HOT 2 CLOSED

You can use npm link, but as its not a library I need to do more work (e.g. like Express) to have it create default site. Closed for now, will create another issue that captures this if it is a requirement.

npm link has never worked for me, I've always had to "npm install" each dependency.

Maybe use git submodules. See https://github.com/robrighter/node-boilerplate for an example. I like this setup. Except we wouldn't be using it as a boilerplate for new projects, so some things would need to be adjusted, others wouldn't apply. Adjust: instead of putting the submodules in [projroot]/lib, put them in [projroot]/node_modules. N/A - most of initproject.sh.

then the install of calipso would be
git clone (calipso.git)
git submodule update --init --recursive
