I think this is generally useful, but zookeeper_exporter shouldn't create it automatically (it shouldn't even have write access). The view has schema compatible with query_log (apart from count
), it's probably okay to just explain how to create a table in the README. If the program accepts an optional parameter with the name of this table, e.g. -user_log_table=X
, it can learn what aggregations and dimensions are available in it (from DESCRIBE TABLE
), so the table schema doesn't have to be exactly like mentioned here (if someone wants to monitor, say, queries by user-table, or quota_key).
