If this feature will ever be implemented it would be really nice if libmygpo-qt ( http://www.gitorious.org/libmygpo-qt/libmygpo-qt ) would be supported. It allows the application to integrate with gpodder.net, offering synchronisation of your subscribed podcasts among various application. Amarok started using it recently and gPodder is the place where it all started.

I wanted to add that I agree that Clementine, which is already an excellent audio player, would benefit greatly from adding podcast management features.

Just for those not aware, I'll add in a possible "workaround" if you will, namely to use a command line pod fetcher like BashPodder, http://lincgeek.org/bashpodder/ or one of its many derivatives, like MashPodder, http://code.google.com/p/mashpodder/ which I personally prefer. The scripts are minimal and near zero weight, and installation is simple. Running either of them as a cron job, with the download directory either added to Clementine's libraries or simply symlinked from an existing library directory will complete a setup that automatically downloads the desired podcasts and makes them show up in Clementine's library in a nice and transparent way.

This does not replace built in podcast functionality, but it's a means of getting similar results in a fairly uncomplicated manner.

It is possible to seek for me. So maybe it's something in your specific podcast (you should post details) ?

And this bug is now closed, as the support for podcasts has been added. Maybe it would be better to file another one ? (there will probably be several different bugs with podcasts)
