@DarrenRF would it be possible for you to do a pull request to a branch (called 'darren') so we can make use of the work you've done so far?

@chalimar if you have ideas for background or banner would be great to add them here?

Update for Friday, October 23rd, 2020:
- So far initialized the donation component with breadcrumbs and the title of the page.
- No blockers so far. There might be some friction with adding the gif to the page but will update when I add it in.
- I'll be pretty available this weekend to work on and collaborate on issues.
- This page should be able to be built out by this coming Thursday, October 29th.

@mealthebear please change the Hack and Code for links to just be bolded, not links, thanks!

Update for Monday, October 26th, 2020:
Progress: The desktop view for the donation page is complete. The next portion that needs to be finished is the mobile view.
One thing to bring up is that the styling for the breadcrumbs needs to be modified so that they match the Figma styles as
well as become responsive on mobile.
Blockers: No blockers at the moment.
Availability: My schedule is open for this week leading up to Thursday's meeting.
ETA: Thursday, October 29th is still looking like a good date to have this page built out by then.

Update for Thursday, October 29th 2020:
- Progress: The donation page is coming along well. The desktop view as well as the mobile view are complete and are now in need of review. A pull request has been opened to merge the donation page onto main. Screenshots will also be posted here.
- Blockers: Really no blockers, just some points to address. Since the totally rad Radical Collaboration page isn't built out yet, the BreadCrumbs can't point to it yet. Also, the styling for the BreadCrumbs component needs to be modified to match the Figma.
- Availability: I'll be available for this weekend to work on any issues.
- ETA: 0 - 2 days

Update for Tuesday, November 3rd 2020:
- Progress: The page is coming along nicely. The org names' styling has been reverted so they don't look like links, and the breadcrumbs styling has been changed as well which cleaned up a little bit of code.
In addition, functions for checking the browser window size have been removed so now the donation page can remain as 1 file.
Furthermore, we the Programmers of the Civic Tech Index, in Order to form a more perfect codebase; have begun work on implementing linters and testing which will be featured in future PRs. - Blockers: No blockers
- Availability: I'll be pretty liberated from any professional, social, & spiritual obligations for the foreseeable 2 days leading up to the grand Thursday meeting.
- ETA: 0 - 2 days (Code is looking good)

Please check to see why the font is so big, and review http://civictechindex.org/home for example of how it should be sized

Update for Thursday, November 12th 2020
- Progress: Styling changes have been made to the donation page as well as the landing page so that the text and images aren't so large. I'll post screenshots of both pages here just in case, as the landing page issue is closed.
- Blockers: None
- Availability: I'll be busy until this Saturday
- ETA: Should take less than a week to get merged in
