Large File Solution for China about cityscope.github.io HOT 9 CLOSED

• should this be a shared folder? (does every one need to see it?)
• is it possible to have a plain ftp (or smb) server (drive) at China? (typically just a ubuntu box)
• if not 4, 3, 2, 1
• LFS is command line only, I'm tired to persuade people.

Didn't have any issues with DB post vpn setup. It's China, not the moon ;)

I talked to @SutaBeacon about setting up the server in China. It's possible but takes time.
Let's try to stick with option 4 as for now. We need to get a really good commercial VPN that works in China then. @SutaBeacon can help on that.

I don't know this is Github's feature particularly not git.
One thing, he seem not to be an outside collaborator, since he is not assigned to be a contributor to any repo. ( ... different topic, and I don't know if this is written any where, but doesn't at least one person from each city needs to be assigned as the contributor for CSL_X repo?)

Suta is a collaborator of CSL_Shanghai repo. But he didn't show up in the outside collaborator session of the org. Maybe because that he hasn't accepted the invitation or hasn't committed anything yet.
