@brimarq be on the lookup for release 5.4.1. since the code has been merged, I am going to close this issue. Feel free to reopen this if you still face this issue once upgraded to 5.4.1

FWIW, I'm told that this was not an issue when using ChurchCRM v4.4.5, from which this installation was recently upgraded. And, now PHP 7.4 is no longer available to select on the host, so it appears that downgrading is not an option.

This issue looks to be related to the slim framework upgrade, since the dependency injection container is not appropriately retrieving the service definition.
