Update failure due to mixlib missing options - again about chef_client_updater HOT 5 CLOSED

I already had this problem and I resolved it by updating the gem mixlib-install > 3.3.1

i install version 3.3.4

from chef_client_updater.

I was expecting the cookbook to handle that part as it did previously. Considering that mixlib-install 3.3.4 was supposed to fix the issue, I was hoping the requirement to install that version of the gem would be it. Unfortunately, it is still not happening in my case.

I'll manually try to install mixlib-install but would be difficult for my none internet access systems (which is almost all of the machines I have).

You can download it on your pc version 3.3.4. You copy the gem to your server and install it
