Character encoding about enlive HOT 4 CLOSED

I'm hitting this as well. In my case, the HTML page is likely encoded in ISO-8859-2 but it is not declared as such. I wish there is way to explicitly specify the character encoding.

Having the same issue here. Sequences with "UTF-8" content are encoded in "ISO-8859-2" by enlive while rendering the template.

@rhz I realize that it's been already a year since the issue was opened, but it feels that it could be solved by simply using custom renderer, with Java String constructor:

(apply str (emit* (flatmap f nodes)))

Using #(String. % "ISO-8859-2") may solve the issue, could you guys take a closer look or provide a failing test?

html-resource capacities as an HTTP agent are not going to improve: there are already better libs for that (eg http-client).
That would have it's place in a hypothetical enlive-contrib though.
