Apparently, like with other packages, the THM attack box contains older packages which can't be updated. Manually removing PyYAML 3.12 from the dist-packages and then installing the most recent version fixed the issue.

I've added some code which fetches the error and dumps without sorting keys. I hope this helps others with the same issue: 6907fbc
