Probably, there are no rights to write auxiliary files (for example, snapshots), and the specified train_dir
option would help.

Unfortunately, setting train_dir didn't do the trick. It's the exact same error popping up again. I've also tried to set allow_writing_files=False and save_snapshot=False but didn't make no difference. Is there any other way to prevent catboost from writing files? Or any other idea what it could be? It's probably also worth mentioning that the error doesn't always pop at at the same iteration of the fitting process. It's rather random...
I'm really in despair... :(

Nevermind, I did make it work, you were right with the train_dir! I first set the variable wrong. Thanks a lot! You really helped me a lot with this one! I appreciate it.
