The iVotas project consists of obtaining, storing and counting votes by electronic means related to an electoral process. In an election candidates are presented and the choice of each voter should be secret, and each voter may vote only once, and the count of votes should be in accordance with the choices actually made by the voters. This project consists of creating an electronic voting system to elect the governing bodies of the University of Coimbra. This project is divided into 2 parts. In the first part the application back-end was developed. In the second part was created a Web front end.
