I particularly like the inclusion of:
- Maintain a Culturally Responsive Instructor Training Curriculum and Continuing Education
This is something I would love to learn to get better at in my own teaching, Carpentries and otherwise. I like the reading group book suggestions.
I am curious how something like that would be assessed, qualitatively or quantitatively.

Hi @lexnederbragt. Thanks so much for reading the roadmap. Part of my ongoing work is pulling together our equity, inclusion, and accessibility (EIA) metrics and working with each team lead (alongside the community of course) to assess where we are and where we want to go. Your thoughts are on par with our thinking! Looking forward to sharing metrics soon.

Thanks for this great document! Am I right in thinking that one reason for putting together a roadmap is to ensure our community becomes more diverse and inclusive? In that case I would have liked to see metrics (stop 2) that measure this. How diverse are we now and how diverse are we after implementing one or more of the objectives? This requires more than measuring numbers of blog posts, visits and sign us. We also will need to measure aspects of those metrics (now, and later) that tell us whether we have increased diversity and inclusivity ('do people come from more different backgrounds than before, do we diversify the people contributing, are people feeling more included now than before'?).
