Boost is downloaded twice during build about carla HOT 4 CLOSED

Right, I think I see the issue.

At line 97 in <CARLA>/Util/BuildTools/Setup.sh you will see wget "https://archives.boost.io/release/${BOOST_VERSION}/source/${BOOST_PACKAGE_BASENAME}.tar.gz" || true
Replace it with this:
wget "https://archives.boost.io/release/${BOOST_VERSION}/source/${BOOST_PACKAGE_BASENAME}.tar.gz" -O ${BOOST_PACKAGE_BASENAME}.tar.gz || true

I will submit a PR with the changes once we know it works. Sorry for these kinds of issues, the build process is quite old, but we're completely overhauling it.

Thank you for the reply, makes sense to force the name

1. however from my experiment just now -O still appends .# duplicates. nvm that was the backup
2. I also it with -nc to not duplicate it and compared sha256sum on the tar file and its the same as written in the global variable.
   Strangely, the if-clause in 102 is still entered, resulting in a second download. My shell script knowledge is too weak currently for a fast debugging.

EDIT: I think I found the problem and looking for a solution -> #7643 I just do not have enough time right now to make it super nice.
