The user reports that he has reconstructed the contents of the data folder, so "date/times are not the actual".

But based on this, it looks like there was an ungraceful shutdown which left an (or multiple) open segment(s) (otherwise we wouldn't see the segment with a single entry). So maybe there is something going on with the closing of multiple open segments at startup, but I'm just guessing here.
