Hi @tarunfeb27

The microk8s installer creates a multipass VM on the macOS machine, which uses a local bridge for networking. In order to reach the multipass VM from another host in your network, things you can do include (admittedly, all of them come with shortcomings and tradeoffs between simplicity/stability):

  • If the microk8s VM is running on 192.168.50.111 and uses the local bridge 192.168.64.0/24, you can tell your other machines on the network to route the traffic by doing the equivalent of:
ip route add 192.168.64.0/24 via 192.168.50.111
  • Edit the multipass configuration of the machine, to add an extra network interface on the host network. This would make the multipass VM get an extra IP in the 192.168.50.0/24 subnet. Then, you can replace the IP in the kubeconfig file and use that from a remote machine.

  • Create a port forward configuration on your macOS machine that forwards traffic to the multipass VM port 16443. That way, other machines on your network can just reach microk8s at 192.168.50.111:16443

Which of the above helps most depends on your setup and use-case.
