Another option would also be to use <View/> but conditionally render the <Slider/> or the empty placeholder depending on your scenario to deal with layout of the whole screen in your app.

Put is inside a <View> and add display:'none' to the <View> should work.

I did that, It is inside a but the thumb & progress bar is still visible after making that display none, and it also gets misaligned from its original position when the display is none. Misalign feels normal as some of the tags may actually hide which causes misaligning.
Note: - The has position absolute.
The solution I used:- Made the transformY: -2000
