Almost all the documentation for Windows 8 / WinRT applies to Windows Phone 8.1. The docs can certainly make this more clear.

totally agree that the docs for win8/rt apply but we still have people posting to codeplex about this newer version apparently. Surprised that it wasn't locked to prevent more threads. People don't bother with docs when they download from Nuget prime example is a guy with 5 comments on SO about how PhoneBootStrapper is missing when actually he probably has a WPA81 version of 2.x which is win8/rt driven with CaliburnApplication base.
