Hmm... I dropped in that exact code on my machine and it works fine.
Can you tell me more about (1) the hardware for your machine (e.g. - mine is Ubuntu with Intel Core i7 and Intel UHD Graphics 620) and (2) how you installed OpenCL (is the command you gave all you did?).

So you need to be able to talk to your GPU.
In this article - https://www.eriksmistad.no/getting-started-with-opencl-and-gpu-computing/ - the section title "Installing and setting up OpenCL on your computer" goes over what you need to do to be able to use OpenCL to talk to your GPU.
Can you see if you have done all of the steps involved?
