Sorry for the delay in replying. I had overlooked this "issue". Anyway, we can basically do the same thing with the C++ API, which is closer to the Java API of the wrapper from OpenCV. So, something like this should work:

MatVector mChannels = new MatVector(4);

public void apply(Mat src, Mat dst) {
    split(src, mChannels);

    Mat r = mChannels.get(0);
    Mat g = mChannels.get(1);
    Mat b = mChannels.get(2);

    // dst.b = min(dst.r, dst.g, dst.b)
    min(b, r, b);
    min(b, g, b);

    merge(mChannels, dst);
}

from javacpp-presets.
