Yeah, that should be fixed. For the purpose of the demos I have a class which clones controls to show you can get dragging up and running pretty much purely in XAML. So I put a check around NonShareable property values (i.e Bindings). In a real world MVVM scenario you are most likely going to bind data in and therefore you can intercept the control creation for your own needs...just working on the demo to that affect.
