I just tested by creating a new Burmilla VM manually.

From the first start, the date is indeed not good. However my proxmoxVE is on the right date, so it's burmilla which has the wrong date by default?

BurmillaOS iso file of course cannot contain information about what date it is. Initial information is read from BIOS and then synced with NTP if connection is allowed. You can also specify custom NTP servers on cloud init https://burmillaos.org/docs/configuration/advanced/write-files/#writing-files-in-specific-system-services

Would be nice if you can test boot some other distro from ISO file without internet to see if date is then correct (if Proxmox VE provides correct value through virtual BIOS).
