Hi @Fryguy, apologies for the delay in getting back to you. We've had a discussion, and it seems like the best way forward is for you to publish a new gem based on your fork: https://github.com/Fryguy/terminal-to-html/tree/remove_escape_utils. The code was MIT licensed, so you have every right to do so, and now you have our blessing. Let us know the name you choose to publish it as, and we can link to it in our deprecation notice.

FWIW, this is the code change to the Ruby that I'd be releasing: https://github.com/buildkite/terminal-to-html/compare/v2.0.0...Fryguy:terminal-to-html:remove_escape_utils?expand=1

Howdy @Fryguy — we're generally supportive of the idea of transferring the gem.
We'll discuss it internally this week and get back to you.

Thanks @pda - Feel free to email if you want to discuss offline. I can also give some references to vouch if needed.
