Change name of allowed to check about hooch HOT 6 OPEN

Hmm, I've been quite much on the fence about this one.

My original thinking was that the imperative - "Hooch, permit this activity" and "Hooch has allowed this activity", but perhaps that was ambitious thinking on my part.

Should we rename it completely or alias it?

I am not sure, but if I read
hooch.permit and hooch.allowed it is not clear which one checks and sets permission.
I would personally go with something along the line of set(Permission) check(Permission), but its not a dealbreaker.

I've meditated on that as well - but rejected it due to it not being explicit about what's being done.

I usually only use methods such as set or get or similar on data structures, where there's no behavior attached.
