On second thoughts, perhaps I'm not approaching this scenario correctly..
Through the standard configuration options available in Verdaccio's, I can limit package access to authenticated users, then I can simply create accounts for each person who should have access to them and then disable user registration.
In which case, it seems this plugin is actually appropriate for my specific Verdaccio use case.
Having said that, I really like the idea of this plugin, so I'll most definitely keep this one in mind for other systems in the future. I get the feeling this one will turn out to be very handy one day. :)
