@oozrafa : you can already achieve this by giving a different class to a group aof images and then init the swipebox on them.

That wouldn't work for dynamically created pages. Ideally it should be possible to init the swipebox on one class, and then the plugin should detect the items in the same group. For example on a products page where there are lots of products and each product has a few images. When I click on one of the products then I'll only want the images for that product to be shown...

This is exactly what I'm saying :) The images in the same group have the same class. So initialisation is done using one class for each group ? Am I missing something ?
For example, I use this plugin in a Wordpress, grouping images by posts ID, and it works perfectly.

But usually the script for initializing all the plugins is pre-written and not dynamically created when the page is created. So I would know what classes there would be (maybe take a look at how fancybox implements this).

I think your question is more a problem of integration in your personnal projects, not a question about how swipebox is build.

ok, cool. I disagree with that because when I initially searched for that I found loads of questions, especially on stack exchange with regards to that. But I respect your opinion 👍

I am looking for this same feature. It would be nice to group galleries by the rel attribute. My page is dynamically created so trying to add a swipebox class to every single group is almost impossible.

Sorry for my bad english. I have a problem, in my code i have six galleries and i assigned a different class for each one. The first five working well, but the sixth did not, and I do not know what happens.
