Hi, thanks for opening an issue.
Using the real-time archiver with live-only mode is how I use it myself, what channel were you trying to archive? I'll see if there's anything weird going on for this to happen.
I did push a fix with v4.0.5 which may resolve this, could you update to the latest version and if the issue persists post the logs with the --debug flag?
Something else to note is that without --watch enabled, it will only archive the current stream if the channel is live, otherwise it will exit out.

I was trying to archive a channel that didn't have VODs enabled, so that could be the issue. Looks like doing it in other channels with VODs enabled works perfectly. I'll try it out when the streamer streams again. Thanks.

Ahh yes if they have VODs disabled you will need to run in --watch mode which will repeatedly check if the stream is live and download it if it is.
