I've been using it for months on Heroku, no issues.
The owner seems pretty active on github and node in general.

Hi @mathieucarbou - the project is definitely still alive and I use it. I guess having the last commit be 7 months old kinda seems like it might be dead, but it's definitely not. Honestly it just works which is more than I can say for most of my code
