Hi and sorry for replying late. I'm not completely sure what you want/need, so I hope my reply makes sense to you.

If you want to run a GitHub action I would rather not do this via this repository as deployment actions are an individual thing. I suggest that you create a dedicated repository including this one as a submodule and writing your custom action there, specifically fitting your needs.
If you plan to create a general purpose action I think this might be a nice addition so go ahead an propose a pull request.

About the vercel stuff: I actually don't use it so I'm not 100% sure how it works and what your plans are, but I'm looking forward to hear them. I would kindly ask you for a bit clarification.
