Currently a Software Engineer. I love creating web apps, dev tools, games, and doing machine learning! Professionally, I do React, but I genuinely enjoy Svelte personally.
🔭 Always exploring a mix-&-match set of tools from legacy to bleeding edge so I can make my ⭐️ perfect stack ⭐️ (currently):
- Frontend: Svelte, TanStackQuery, Tailwind
- Backend: SvelteKit, Hono(RPC)/ElysiaJS(Eden), tRPC, Auth (Lucia or Auth.js)
- Object Storage: Backblaze B2 or Cloudflare R2
- Database: Postgres or SQLite (Turso or Cloudflare D1)
- DevOps: Kamal, Dokku, Caprover, AWS SST (have yet to compare these)
🧩 My perfect architectures:
- Monolithic Backend: Data-driven, vertically-sliced, and minimal Layers: (Routers, Controllers, Services, and Repository).
- Monolithic Metaframework: No separate backend, no router, no controller, and minimal Layers: (Services and Repository).
- For larger usecases: Domain-Driven Design.
Recently played around with: Wails, SolidJS, Vike, and PostGIS.
- 🦴 ScolioVis.app. Automatically assess scoliosis severity using computer vision and machine learning. My undergrad thesis!
- 📘 LinkRoom. A link dashboard app with complex state (Won 3rd out of 32 teams at the DICT Region 6 Startup Pitching Competition).
- 🎙️ Resonate. Full-stack audio-based social media app (Made Svelte + Convex 🧡 for WebDevCody's Hackathon).
- ☕ Cafe.ly. A full-stack social product review app like Yelp but for coffee!
