It could happen with previous versions, but v1.1.0.1 should work.
Does it create blocks while syncing? debug.log would be helpful

It created blocks up to a point then stopped. I was able to use the mouse-over display to see what block it was on when it stalled and then restart it. It didn't generate a debug.log and I didn't think to create one. :-( The odd thing was it was 10 days or so out of date. It synced in one try up to 5 days out of date and that's where it stalled. I had unlocked the wallet for staking right off the bat. It also showed a green check mark for staking.

debug.log is in the datadir, the same dir where is your wallet.dat, on
mac it should be by default ~/Library/Application Support/BlackCoin

This might be effect of "App Nap" feature, is it enabled on your system?
I was told it's quite troublesome.

Found it. It appears to start on the successful sync based on the creation date. It's big (5.7 meg). It won't fit into a github comment. Is there somewhere I can paste it or email it?

The log grew so big that the start was shrinked... What is last there is quite strange.

So is the "App Nap" enabled on your system?

Yes but it never naps (or suspends) because I have other things running. In this particular case I using the computer during the sync process so I can affirm that it wasn’t suspended.

As I understand it does not "suspend" but significantly slows down
programs at wish. As a result the wallet is unable to stay synced.

Anyway, disable it and try to reproduce. Send me debug.log if it's still
the case.
