• Add a search bar in the front end to search any item in the selected feed/folder/all
• In the backend, use something like MySQL's column SOUNDS LIKE 'search terms'

use publicationDesc asc when showing unread items
use publicationDesc desc when showing all items

Everytime the refresh button is clicked, another interval is set up:

$interval(updateUnreadCount, 60 * 1000);

If a feed is updated at t, it may add items with a publication date t - 10, whereas the last check was done at t - 1, those items are not added.

In Atom feeds, the date lives in <updated>, which is mapped in SyndEntry.updatedDate.

In RSS 2.0, use <lastBuildDate> or perhaps <pubDate> if item dates are missing.

If a feed is not reachable after a certain amount of time/tries, then stop pulling it.

Since the app uses snapshot versions of some of the dependencies, package the application before deploying it on openshift:

• minify and combine JS/CSS into single files, and replace tags in index.html
• build the darjeeling module and put it in a new repo
• copy Maven snapshots and gyokuro in this same repo
• zip this repo with the latest ceylon-dist

Does not work for item titles and links inside item content.
