Thanks @lwaldron for the report.
I've split the original IRangesOverview.Rnw vignette in 2: the S4Vectors-specific stuff is now in a new vignette (S4VectorsOverview.Rnw) in S4Vectors 0.17.35, and only the IRanges-specific stuff remains in the IRangesOverview.Rnw vignette in IRanges 2.13.27.
The Rle stuff now is in the new S4VectorsOverview.Rnw vignette and has been slightly re-organized. In particular the xVector and xRle variables now contain an integer vector and integer-Rle object respectively.
