Okay yes I'm seeing that too. I'll just loop through smaller date ranges to get all the data then. Thanks for the quick response.

Would it make sense to add a warning message if the query returns 40k results?

I don't think this is an error, at least not on the baseballr side. Compare to directly querying from Statcast Search). That produces 40k data points. Here's the breakdown by date:

So, it looks like rather than error out a query, Savant is now returning data with a max limit of 40k entries, and yes it looks like it is limiting to the latest 40k depending on your query.
