A Study on Fake News Detection Using Naïve Bayes, SVM, Neural Networks and LSTM Used NLP and Machine Learning algorithms to identify fake news accurately using Python. The first step was to web scrape and acquire the data set of 35000 tuples relevant to the 2016 US elections. Followed by Pre-processing the data and Feature Extraction. Finally, the classifier was trained using the algorithms and the results yielded an accuracy of over 90% in the model using Long Short-term Memory Neural Network.
