Unknown Command: sync_schemas about django-tenant-schemas HOT 8 CLOSED

I don't know what to tell you. I can't reproduce your problem. Download it
directly from github or from pypi:
https://pypi.python.org/pypi/django-tenant-schemas/. If you download the
zip you can see that all folders are inside there, so I don't know why you
are getting an empty package.

Running into a problem when attempting to initially sync schemas. Keep
getting error: Unknown command: 'sync_schemas'.. I've attempted to install
django-tenant-schemas a few times through pip to no avail.

I don't believe all the folders are being synced correctly using pip. In
fact, I believe I'm missing all of them, along with the management folder
that houses all the commands... That would be the problem. heh

I should add - Manually downloading this repo and adding it in the correct site packages location solved the issue.

Thanks for the quick reply. Yea, manually installing worked. Not sure why my package came in without the folders.

Never had an issue before this one package. I'm just trying on a different virtual environment to see if it'll happen again or somehow I had my environment borked.. I'll let you know

A different environment work fine. Not really sure why it would do that on one but not the other - but it does seem to be an isolated incident. All is well. :)

Just for reference if someone stumbles on this thread, and this weird issue happened to them:

Although it appeared that main directory files came through for me in this instance (installing via pip), they appeared to have been corrupted somehow as well, and the whole packaged needed to be overwritten using this repository.... very strange.
