Makes sense. Thanks for the response, and thanks again for the awesome work - as you can see above, it really helps to display lots of info in a compact fashion!

I'm afraid it is not as simple as that. The default entity-row layout gives all the excess space to the title-part of the row, so the entities themselves do not have any more room to justify on. Default browser behaviour/rendering removes all blank spaces if I do not somehow translate the spaces to html entities ( ).

I've also tried to avoid adding styling customization to the card, as that greatly complicates things. Also, there exists several card modding tools to allow customization.

Could you maybe try out card-mod and see if you can make it work with that?

I have a situation similar to @mrand

This card displays perfectly on larger screens like so:

It is truncated on my mobile (iPhoneX) like so:

Is there any way that this can be adjusted?

Thank you.

I suppose it would look funny to remove the "pool" text. What is the "today" useful for? You might have to divide this across two rows if there is no way to scale the icons smaller.

Thank you for your comments. Removing the 'Pool' text has no effect.

'Today' shows the hours that the pump was on today. It is replaced by a 'timer' if either the 'broom' or the 'fill' options are selected.

The other 5 icons are mutually exclusive modes of operation of the pump.

I was thinking on the lines of reducing the padding/margins of the card.

Interesting. I wonder if card-mod would allow you to modify the padding or margins or scale the icons.

If no other solution presents itself, I'd be tempted to use a fold-down card for the buttons, or else move the Today/Timer line to another row.

Had a go at that, but I'm not that knowledgeable in that area (styles).
Don't know exactly how to do that.
